PATH Service restored after broken rail repair

A broken rail in a PATH tunnel has caused a disruption in PATH service.Trains were briefly suspended between the 33rd Street Station in New York City to the Hoboken and Journal Square Stations around noontime.

Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico says normal service was restored around 1:30 p.m.

Trains had been running every 30 minutes between Hoboken and 33rd Street in Manhattan.
