Besides turning your clocks ahead, there's one more piece of business that you should do - Replace batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
On Friday, the FDNY Commissioner Sal Cassano gave dozens of school children a tour of one fire house in Harlem.
The fire department handed out more than 7,500 batteries to commuters and shoppers, to promote replacing smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector batteries during the weekend switch to Daylight Savings Time.
