The NYPD is trying to track down a driver after a deadly crash in Brooklyn. The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at 65th Street and 21st Avenue in the Bensonhurst section.

Investigators say a blue Dodge Caravan with Missouri plates hit a Ford Taurus, sending both vehicles into parked cars and sparking a fire. The driver of the Taurus was killed, his body said to be burnt beyond recognition. He has not been identified by police, but officials said it was his 70th birthday. The other driver fled the scene.

Fire damage from the collision spread to parked cars and also damaged nearby homes.
