NEWARK Shimon Haber pleaded guilty in January to a money laundering conspiracy charge.

The Brooklyn, N.Y., resident was among 44 people arrested in July in a two-track investigation into international money laundering and political corruption.

The 34-year-old worked as a real estate developer in New York and New Jersey.

Haber admitted helping government witness Solomon Dwek launder money used to bribe a Union City official in exchange for permits.
