Authorities say 83-year-old Sister Mary Celine Graham was struck and killed by a car being driven by a robbery suspect.
Two other people were critically injured in the accident.
Detectives say the two suspects were trying to get away from police when they crashed.
Both men, 18-year-old William Robbins and 20-year-old Dyson Williams, are under arrest and facing charges ranging from robbery to second-degree murder.
