One dead, girl wounded in the Bronx

Homicide detectives are looking for a killer in the Bronx.

The shooting happened in the soundview section on east 172nd street at 2:25 a.m.

Police found 27-year-old man Rafeal Otero lying on the street, shot in the neck. He later died at saint barnabas hospital.

A second victim, a 14-year-old girl, walked into Jacobi Hospital with a gun shot wound. She was listed in stable condition.

A witness found a gun found near the crime scene. It's not clear if that was the gun used in the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

Two other men were shot in another Bronx incident on Waring Avenue shortly after midnight. Police said one man was killed and the other was in stable condition.

In Brooklyn, one man was killed and two injured in a shooting incident near Tompkins Avenue and Kosciuszko Street shortly before 2 a.m. Police said the two injured men were in stable condition.
