Javier Zempalteca was arrested on 37th Street near 31st Avenue in Astoria.
The suspect allegedly groped a 21-year-old woman while waiting for the E train at the Steinway station last month.
The victim snapped a cell phone photo when the suspect got on the train, leading to his arrest.
He is charged with third-degree sexual abuse.
