Boot and Tow program targets red-light violators

Drivers on Long Island who blow off traffic tickets are about to get the boot.

Nassau County lawmakers are implementing a new Boot and Tow program.

It targets people who have at least three unpaid tickets for passing through red lights.

The red-light cameras installed at 38 intersections across the county has issued more than 300,000 tickets since it began 14 months ago.
