Mayor Bloomberg didn't find pleasure in deposition

NEW YORK

Snippets of eight hours of depositions that /*Bloomberg*/ underwent in 2009 became available publicly Thursday, a week after they were filed in federal court in Manhattan by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Those 31 pages showed Bloomberg sometimes impatient with questions from lawyers for women who alleged they were discriminated against by the company he led before he became mayor in 2002. He said he thinks "more so than ever before" that anyone quitting to work for a competitor should fail.

A lawyer for /*Bloomberg L.P.*/ did not immediately respond to a message for comment.
