Hunt for a killer after NJ store clerk shot

Essex County investigators are trying to find the killer of a liquor store clerk.

The shooting happened around 9:30 Friday night at Chestnut Liquors on Chestnut Street in West Orange.

Sources tell Eyewitness News nothing was stolen from the store during the crime.

Police are apparently looking at video from the store's cameras to see if they can identify the gunmen.

Witnesses say the saw a white veichle leaving the scene following the shooting.

Detectives are trying to determine the motive.

The victim was identified as 28-year-old James Wilson.

Neighbors said Wilson had worked at the store for years.

Police have not identified a suspect.
