Coming up: Street Games 2011

NEW YORK At this free event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., participants will be able to join in the fun of classic street games and activities that hearken back to the '60s and '70s such as pogo sticks, hula hoops, yo-yos, stickball, paddle ball, hippity hop, Double Dutch jump roping and skateboarding clinics.

It won't be hard to feel part of a time warp once guests listen to classic Motown, rock 'n' roll and soul songs playing throughout the day. They will serve as inspiration for various music and dance performances.

The park is located at 114th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan.
