Section 2 introduces 10 new blocks from 20th Street to 30th Street on the Lower West side. A treat for the eyes, city officials see this as a park with potential. In addition to natural beauty, it brings new retail space, new restaurants and generated 8000 construction jobs and 12,000 additional jobs in the Chelsea and Meatpacking neighborhoods.
