Remigio "Remy" Gonzalez of /*East Hanover*/ was arrested in August 2010 and charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. He entered his plea Friday in state Superior Court in /*Morristown*/.
Gonzalez appeared as a cake decorator on the popular TLC network reality show about a family-run bakery in /*Hoboken*/.
Gonzalez faces up to 10 years in state prison and will have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 5.
Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said the state will seek to have Gonzalez, who is not a U.S. citizen, deported once he completes his prison sentence. Information on his country of origin was not immediately available.
