Police say 43-year-old Angelo Grimaldi of Selden was driving on Bowdoin Road at around 8 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree.
Authorities say 45-year-old Kevin Demaille of /*Centereach*/ was also inside the car.
Both men were transported to /*Stony Brook University Medical Center*/ where they died as a result of their injuries.
The vehicle has been impounded for a safety check.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
