NJ Transit launches online customer survey

NEWARK, N.J.

The agency launched its second online customer satisfaction survey Tuesday.

Last month, it published results of a spring survey that asked travelers to rate service in 32 different categories on a scale of 0 to 10.

NJ Transit received overall marks in the middle of the scale, with a mean score of 5.2 for overall satisfaction. Safety and payment options received higher marks, while on-time performance and handling of service disruptions lagged behind.

Customers can take the survey at NJTransit.com. Everyone who participates will be entered to win one of five free monthly passes.

NJ Transit plans to conduct the surveys quarterly.
