Pa. team ends Paramus' Little League dreams

BRISTOL, Conn.

Wyatt Koch hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth, helping lead Pennsylvania to a 5-2 win over New Jersey on Monday in Bristol.

Pennsylvania finished the tournament 6-0, beating New Jersey twice and winning the Mid-Atlantic Championship. The team now advances to the Little League World Series, which starts Thursday in Williamsport, Penn.

The scoring came quickly Monday after a scoreless 3 innings were rain-delayed Sunday.

New Jersey pulled within one run in the top of the fifth with a two-run home run from Nick DeNigris.

But Pennsylvania closer Tyler McCloskey put in an insurance run in the top of the sixth and Alex Garbick followed with an RBI.
