Testimony done in NYC parking-fight assault trial

NEW YORK

Testimony wrapped up Wednesday in Oscar Fuller's criminal trial.

Neither he nor the injured woman, Lana Rosas, took the stand.

Summations are set for Friday.

The two argued Feb. 25 over a parking space Rosas wanted to save for her boyfriend.

Prosecutors say the 35-year-old Fuller punched Rosas in the face out of rage. He has said he was defending himself after she hit him first.

Rosas fell to the ground and hit her head on the pavement. The 25-year-old was in a coma for about a week.

Her family's lawyer, David Oddo, says Rosas still wears a helmet because of head injuries.
