Study says to stay away from mid-morning snacking

If you want to reduce your waist line, you might want to stay away from that mid-morning snack.

A new study found overweight or obese women who snacked between breakfast and lunch lost less weight than those who skipped it.

The result had more to do with short intervals between the two meals than the time of day.

The study is in next month's issue of the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
