Police arrested Frank Telang at his Port Jefferson Station home at 8:15 this morning.
Between April and October, Telang was videotaped allegedly providing prescriptions for oxycodone and other controlled substances in exchange for cash to multiple undercover law enforcement officers.
He is alleged to have illegally prescribed the drugs both in his office and in a parking lot along the Long Island Expressway.
Telang's office, Integrative Neurology, was searched by DEA agents on Dec. 7.
He is the latest in a string of doctors arrested as part of ongoing federal drug distribution probes.
