A Chinese restaurant deliveryman on a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene shortly before 8:30 p.m.
It happened at the corner of Gerritsen Avenue and Avenue V in Marine Park.
Paramedics rushed the biker to the hospital in cardiac arrest.
Ju Xiang Chen, 49, was pronounced dead a short time later.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested after police were able to locate the vehicle that struck him. Kathryn S. Foris was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
