CT school under investigation for 'scream rooms'

MIDDLETOWN

Teachers at Middletown's Farm Hill Elementary sent children who acted out to what they called "scream rooms" to calm down.

But left alone, parents fear the students can harm themselves and frighten others.

The school has now revised its plan on how to deal with behavioral problems, but many parents says it's not enough.

A PTA meeting Thursday night will address the issue and the superintendent's plan moving forward.
