There's a manhunt on Long Island after the attempted abduction of a middle school student.

A 13-year-old girl was walking to her bus stop in Elwood Tuesday morning when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her.

Police say she punched the assailant, got away and ran to the bus stop.

Video shows the girl running away from the scene.

The video was captured by a neighbor's surveillance camera.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years, 5-foot-7 to 6-foot tall, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and a skull cap.
