Police continue to search for sex assault suspect

NEW YORK

Police hope that by re-releasing the video, they may be able to get some new information that could lead to an arrest.

Investigators say the man grabbed the woman outside her home in the University Heights section on Sunday, February 27, 2011 and threw her to the ground, punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her.

Police say a passerby interrupted the attack and the suspect ran off.

The suspect is described as being a Hispanic man, 25-30 years old, 6-foot tall, and 230 pounds with black hair.

He was last seen wearing a reversible hooded fur coat with black jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
