Robber targeting women at Queens Laundromats

QUEENS

The suspect has struck three times so far, once each of the last three days, and at least one of the incidents was caught on surveillance cameras.

The suspect was seen walking through the Laudromat before he committed the crime. In two of the three instances, the man was armed with a gun. He claimed to have a gun in the third case.

The first incident happened Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at a Laundromat on Astoria Boulevard. He robbed a 56-year-old woman of her cash and fled.

The suspect also struck just before 3 a.m. Monday on 103rd Street, robbing a 55-year-old woman, and on Tuesday at 6:15 a.m. on 37th Avenue. Most recently, he targeted a 41-year-old woman.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s.
