Bloomberg opens job help center for veterans

NEW YORK

Bloomberg has opened a new job help center, called Workforce1, at Madison Avenue and East 26th Street.

It has employment experts, who are also veterans.

They'll help job seekers refine their interview answers.

And they will also show veterans how to adapt the skills they developed in uniform.

"We can never fully repay the debt we owe them, but we can make sure they have the support they need when they return to civilian life, including the jobs they deserve," Bloomberg said in a statement.

The Workforce Centers have already placed 800 veterans in jobs last year.
