6 kids, driver hurt in school bus accident

Six children are recovering after being hurt when their bus swerved off a road in New Jersey.

It happened Monday afternoon in Hamilton Township.

Police say the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer, forcing the bus off the road and into a ditch.

15 elementary school students from St. Gregory the Great Academy were on board.

The driver and six students suffered minor injuries.
