  • 78,084 people (38,663 men and 39,421 women) have finished the NYC Half since its first running in 2006
  • 26,797 people applied to the 2012 NYC Half
  • 49 states were represented, plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico
  • 12,631 runners came from New York, the most-represented state
  • 8,692 from New York City
  • 1,450 international runners represented 69 countries
  • About 2,800 runners participate in charity programs

  • 450 portable toilets (including the start, course, finish and festival area)
  • 10 medical stations (9 on course, 1 post-finish)
