The cement balcony collapsed at around 8:30 p.m. at 271 Shore Road. It's a two-story apartment building just off the beach.
Fire officials say five people who were on the deck at the time were injured, but none seriously.
Residents are expected to be let back in late Monday night, but are being warned to stay off other similar balconies.
The owner of the building will have as structural engineer examiner the other balconies Tuesday.
