Video released of suspect in Brownsville shooting

Police are looking for the man behind a violent assault in Brooklyn, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest.

Authorities say the suspect shot a 23-year-old man twice outside the Tilden Houses in Brownsville around 3 a.m. Saturday.

The video shows the man take what appears to be a gun out of his bag before running off.

The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition with gunshot wounds to the leg and foot.

The suspect, described as a balding black male with a medium build, wearing black shorts and dark-colored sneakers, fled in an unknown direction.
