NEW YORK

Detectives say on the morning of June 27, a man in a red cap pulled a gun and robbed two different women at two different locations. The first incident happened just before 7 a.m. At Sedgwick Avenue and Perot Street. The second happened at 8 a.m. near East 173rd Street and Mount Eden Parkway.

In both cases, a woman in a white shirt helped him flee, driving off with him in a gray sedan.

The two also are wanted in another armed robbery on June 21, which occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the Parkchester section.

Police say the same man approached a 40-year-old woman and pointed a gun at her head while the woman stole her purse.

Two other suspects acted as lookouts, and a fifth suspect was later seen using the woman's credit card.

The man is described as a black male, about 6-feet tall with a slim build. The woman is black or Hispanic and stands about 5-foot-5.

Anyone with information in regards to these individuals is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
