Queens jewelry store robbed on Halloween by masked man, 3 others

QUEENS

Authorities say four men caught on surveillance camera robbed Virani Jewelers on 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights around 6:30 p.m. last Thursday.

One of the men was wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a gun.

He forced an employee to open a safe while the others took jewelry from the display case and the fourth watched the front door.

The suspects then fled the location with an undetermined amount of jewelry, which included necklaces, rings and rope chains.

All the suspects were described as Hispanic males, one them dark skinned.
