Off-duty cop stabbed in some sort of domestic dispute

Today, an off-duty New York cop in Brooklyn involved in some sort of domestic dispute. He ends up stabbed in the neck. Now he's in serious condition. There is a suspect in custody. But what really happened?

Also at 11, same-sex marriage again making news. The headline: A court in Utah declaring that state's prohibition on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. Those against same-sex marriage should just not marry someone of the same sex, right? The same as anyone against abortion – they shouldn't get an abortion. The flood gates for same-sex marriage are open and they don't appear they're going to be shut. We'll have the latest.

And we're watching the stock market, which today closed with its 47th record high of the year. Investors clearly excited that the U.S. economy in the third quarter great at a 4.1% rate – faster than projected.

With just a handful of trading days left in 2013 the Dow is up almost 24%, the S&P up 27.5% & the NASDAQ up 36%.
