New Year's Eve party shooting in Toms River leaves 3 hurt

At least three people were wounded when gunfire erupted at a New Year's Eve party at a hotel in Toms River, New Jersey.

It happened inside the Ramada Inn on Route 9. The victims were hit when shots were fired inside the hotel just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Two of the victims were airlifted to a nearby hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

So far there have been no arrests and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation. Authorities are looking for a four door gold Mercedes 500 that fled the scene.
