It seemed a fairly egotistical and less-than-intelligent thing to do right off the bat. Talking about Alex Rodriguez's lawsuit against Major League Baseball and the Players' Association ? after A-Rod's 162-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs.

But today, Rodriguez, whose behavior has always opened him up to criticism about his intelligence, decided to drop his lawsuit, and with it, his attempts to appeal the suspension.

Good riddance ? that's what many Yankees and other baseball fans are saying tonight. We'll have the latest, tonight at 11.

Also ? no need to wait for your news and roll down some slippery slopes. We're on right at 11 tonight.

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Meteorologist Lee Goldberg's AccuWeather forecast, and Rob Powers with the night's sports. I hope you can join Sade Baderinwa, tonight at 11, right after 20/20.
