26 displaced after flames rip through 3-story Brooklyn building

SUNSET PARK

The FDNY responded to the fire in Sunset Park at about 5:45 Sunday evening. By 7:00, firefighters had the flames under control. They say the blaze started in the basement, and moved up through the walls through the walls to the third floor.

Six people suffered minor injuries.

All of the apartments were left unlivable. The Red Cross is helping 26 people with temporary housing.
