Driver charged after intoxicated kids found on party bus on Long Island

A Long Island limo bus driver is under arrest charged with Endangering the Welfare of a child after the bus he was driving was found occupied with minors and alcohol.

Police say the driver Luis A. Guevara-Henriquz, of Hempstead, was driving 42 kids between the ages of 16 and 17 from Garden City to Montauk.

According to authorities when they checked the bus, they found over 100 cans of beer along with several gallons of opened and empty whisky and rum bottles.

Several of the teens were intoxicated, and released to their relatives.

Guevara-Henriquz was processed and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Southampton Town Court at a later date.
