Girl mugged for a dollar in Upper West Side subway

Police are searching for the suspect who mugged a teenage girl at a Manhattan subway stop, for just one dollar.

He's accused of assaulting the 15-year old at about 10 a.m. March 1st in a subway stairwell at West 96th Street and Central Park West.

As the girl entered, she was approached by the suspect who demanded her personal property.

Police say he then assaulted her and fled on foot with one dollar from the victim's jacket.
