Girl mugged for a dollar in Upper West Side subway

NEW YORK

He's accused of assaulting the 15-year old at about 10 a.m. March 1st in a subway stairwell at West 96th Street and Central Park West.

As the girl entered, she was approached by the suspect who demanded her personal property.

Police say he then assaulted her and fled on foot with one dollar from the victim's jacket.
