JAMAICA HILLS, Queens (WABC) -- One person was hurt when flames broke out at a three-story apartment building in Queens.

Firefighters responded to the scene at 168th Place in Jamaica Hills on Sunday morning.

The fire was pinpointed to a location on the third floor.

One person was taken to the hospital. There is no word on their condition.

Fire officials are looking into what caused the fire.
