Search for suspect in attempted rape in Queens

RIDGEWOOD, Queens (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted rape in Queens.

Surveillance video shows the man police say attacked a woman just before 3 a.m. Sunday in Ridgewood.

The video shows him moments before he followed the woman, and allegedly threw her to the ground and tried to rape her.

She fought him off and he fled.

The man is described as in his teens with a slim build. He was wearing a light-colored hoodie, camouflage shorts, black sneakers, and was carrying a backpack.
