3 men wanted for stealing safe in Brooklyn store

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for three men who assaulted a store employee and stole a safe on Wednesday.

Around 8:30 p.m., the three went into a store at enter 810 60th St. in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn and attacked the 26-year-old male employee at a camera equipment store, according to the New York City Police Department. The suspects did not speak but took a safe containing about $30,000. They punched and kicked the employee, then dragged him to a back room, and fled.

The suspects are described as: a black man in his 20s, who is 6 feet 4 inches, with a slim build wearing cornrows and a gray sweatshirt; a black man in his 20s, who is 5 feet 6 inches, with a medium build wearing a red sweatshirt and had a black firearm in his waistband; and a black man in his 20s who is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches with a slim build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The employee is home recovering, but was badly hurt.
