MELROSE, Bronx (WABC) -- Police are looking for two men who opened fire and shot an innocent man playing a game of Dominoes in the Bronx.

The victim and three friends were playing in the 900 block of Sherman Avenue just before 8 p.m. Wednesday when the shots rang out.

The 51-year-old victim, later identified as Robert Griggs, was hit in the torso in a hail of bullets.

Surveillance video shows the two shooters running away with guns pointed. Authorities say they were shooting at each other when people on the street started running.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he is stable and expected to survive.

"This madness has got to stop. It's got to stop. These kids have to learn that life is valuable and you only get one shot," witness Joe Rivara said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
