Body found in Jersey City park

JERSEY CITY The body was discovered near the intersection of Audrey Zapp Drive and Phillip Street, just after 7 a.m.

Authorities say it was the body of a male, around 40 years old, with a bullet hole in his head.

Liberty State Park in Jersey City say the death being ruled a suicide. A gun was reportedly found in the man's hand, and it appears that he died at that spot and was not dumped there.
