Feds: Fort Dix suspects sought other targets

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - In court filings, the government says Mohamad Shnewer (SHNOO'-er) told an FBI informant the group was considering attacking the White House and Capitol Building, as well as CIA and FBI headquarters.

The government wants the evidence introduced at trial. Shnewer's attorney says it's prejudicial and not relevant to the case being considered.

Shnewer and four others are awaiting trial for allegedly plotting an armed attack on Fort Dix to kill soldiers.

Jury selection in the trial is scheduled for Sept. 29.
