Fire destroys restaurant in Roslyn

ROSLYN The heavy flames tore through Mio, a restaurant on Old Northern Boulevard, just before 5 a.m.

No one was inside when the fire broke out.

Firefighters battled the flames for hours. Part of the building collapsed. No injuries were reported.

Old Northern Boulevard was closed for the morning commute.
