Fatal crash in Springfield, NJ

SPRINGFIELD, NJ The collision, involving a car and a tractor-trailer, created a three-mile backup near milemarker 48.7 just before 9 a.m.

Two people were killed in the crash, which causes the diversion of express lane traffic to the local lanes.

Fog and overnight snow were reported in the area, but it was not immediately known if the crash was weather related.
