Both victims were attacked while sleeping in their beds.
The incidents happened in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Black Rock.
Police say 17-year-old Terrence Easton is the suspect in both cases, in which an armed man broke into two homes and sexually assaulted two women.
Both women were home alone in the middle of the night. One victim was 70 years old.
Police charged Easton with first-degree sexual assault, home invasion and first-degree burglary.
