The man is accused of holding up eight banks during a robbery spree while he was out on bail for robbing another bank.
Nathaniel Barreto was arrested Tuesday, hours after police say he robbed a bank in Whippany.
Barreto had been arrested in April for allegedly robbing another bank, then was released on bail.
This time, he is being held without bail.
