NYPD Corruption charges and October snow

October 28, 2011

Talk to a dozen people and you'll get 13 different answers - but after today's indictments of more than a dozen cops in the ticket fixing scandal, the question is important, and the search for an answer - even more so.

We're following developments tonight at 11, and we're interested in your thoughts. CLICK HERE to let us know.

The other buzz is about the weather. Snow coming to our area tomorrow - more to the north and west of New York City. But what's strange is snow in October. What's up with that? Meteorologist Lee Goldberg is tracking the system and he'll time it all out for us, tonight at 11.

Also at 11, our Darla Miles takes a look at the places where you should NOT trick-or-treat. She reports on New York State's groundbreaking effort to put sex offenders' locations on Facebook. It shows you where they are - and where to stay away from when your kids go trick or treating.

And we sent Jim Dolan to Lower Manhattan and the Occupy Wall Street encampment, to find out exactly who is down there all these weeks. Not surprisingly, it's a rag-tag mix of people from various political backgrounds and stripes. So what do they want? Do they even know? Clearly they're upset over the status quo and income inequality, but what does it all mean.

Jim looks at the situation in his proverbial Dolanesque way, at 11.

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Rob Powers with the night's sports. I hope you can join Sade Baderinwa and me, tonight at 11, right after a special 20/20, featuring Barbara Walters' look at four famous billionaires.
