Escaped pheasants flock to Connecticut town

GLASTONBURY

More than 4,000 pheasants escaped from a nearby farm when last month's wet, heavy snow ripped open their pens.

The farm's owner has been trying to round them up ever since.

The Connecticut Department of Agriculture says three pheasant farms sustained damage in the storm.

Losses are estimated at more than $200,000.
