2011 HOLIDAY SEASON GRIDLOCK ALERT DAYS
The New York City Department of Transportation has announced the following dates as Gridlock Alert Days for the 2011 holiday season:
Friday, December 9th, Thursday, December 15th, Friday, December 16th
Wednesday, December 21st, Thursday, December 22nd, Friday, December 23rd
On all Gridlock Alert Days, lane closures are prohibited from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the following roadways, their service roads and East & Harlem River Bridges. Work behind permanent barriers may continue:

Manhattan
Miller Hwy/Henry Hudson Pkwy
FDR Drive/Harlem River Drive
